Sharp Laptops

Sharp is a Japanese electronics company that was founded in 1912. The company was named Sharp after the Ever Ready Sharp mechanical pencil. That is what Sharp began their business in, pencils. When the Great Kanto earthquake happened in 1923, it ended the pencil business. The company moved to Osaka, Japan after the earthquake and there they began assembling radio sets. In 1953, the first Sharp TV’s hit the mainstream and in 1964, the first desktop calculator was being introduced all over the world.
They produced the first LCD computer screen in 1973, Sharp has a wide technological base of LCD’s.
The main projects of Sharp at that point in time were solar panels, mobile phones audio-visual equipment, LCD panels, projectors, photocopiers, microwave ovens and cash registers and flash memory. The more recent projects of the Sharp Corporation were the View Cam, Ultra Lite notebook PC, the Zaurua which is a personal digital assistant, the Sidekick 3 and the Aquos which is a flat screen TV.
