Dell is the widely know American computer company, who at one time their slogan was Dude, you’re getting a Dell. There company was based in Round Rock, Texas. Dell sells and has support for personal computers, servers, data storage devices, network switches and personal digital assistant. Every year Dell grows bigger and bigger. They have more than 63,700 employees. In the Fortune 500 list, Dell ranked number 25 as the largest company in the world. On the same list they ranked number 8 on the yearly list of the most admired companies in the United States.
Dell has many kiosk locations in shopping malls in the United States. The purpose was to give Dell users the convenience of having a location near them so they don’t have to call customer service. The Dell kiosk has Dell products at the same prices as the internet and the call center has. You don’t get a discount for going to the kiosk. Soon locations in Australia and Canada opened up.
Some of the great dell products they offer are the Dell OptiPlex, Dimension, Latitude, Precision, and Power Edge and for help with any service the user has they offer Dell on Call. Dell computers are durable and they never fail in working properly. Some of Dell’s great competitors are Apple, Hewlett Packard, Gateway, Sony and Toshiba. All of these companies offer great products but Dell has something above the rest because Dell is the leader in computers and computer accessories.
